HYDRIVE shows versatility in its next-generation hand-operated two-wheel tractors

Agria has collaborated with HYDRIVE Engineering to develop the new 6400 series of two-wheel tractors. Within just three months, HYDRIVE Engineering developed and fine-tuned a control system for the novel electric drive concept. Agria was able to present the prototypes of the 6400 model series at Demopark 2017 in Eisenach.

3D visualisation supports software development

As part of the joint project Developing Technologies for Energy-Efficient Drives in Mobile Machines Hydrive Engineering GmbH has added a 3D visualisation feature to a software test rig for the first time. The system’s particular advantage is that it is able to directly import data from the real-time simulation models of machines already available, eliminating an additional step in the modelling process.

Simulation models speeding up the development of shock absorbers

Swivel drive for a hydraulic excavator

An automated software testbed for the simulation of electrical faults in the cable loom and their recognition by the control software was developed and built during the software development for a hydraulic excavator. This considerably reduced expenditure on tests for proving safety functions in the event of a fault.

A detailed simulation model of a lowering brake valve was developed for the analysis of the oscillatory tendency of a hydraulic bridge drive.

State theatre Dresden

The main valve stages in the low pressure water hydraulic system, which operates the three lifting platforms in the substage and is about 100 years old, had to be replaced due to heavy abrasive wear. The newly developed main valve stage with a nominal size of 100 mm led to a considerable improvement in positioning behaviour.
