White Paper: Safety in Mobile Machinery (German)

What defines a robust mobile machinery control system?

Controlling mobile working machines places unique demands on both hardware and software. Unlike stationary installations, ECUs and displays must withstand extreme vibration, fluctuating temperatures, moisture and dust. At the same time, the communication protocols are highly specific: CAN bus (based on SAE J1939) is used to exchange engine, transmission and hydraulic data, while ISOBUS enables networking with implements in agriculture.

Safety and application development

Added to this are requirements for functional safety and cybersecurity: in accordance with ISO 13849, safety-relevant functions must be developed and safeguarded up to PLd. Modern display development leverages powerful frameworks such as Qt or CODESYS visualization to deliver intuitive, multi-language user interfaces.

We support you through to commissioning.

Hydrive supports you every step of the way – from requirements analysis and CAN communication definition through application development and OTA update integration to field-ready commissioning – always with the goal of increasing your machine’s productivity and availability.
